STREP Magna-Mat Magnetic Rope Edge Protection Mat – 24"

The STREP Magna-Mat is a professional rope edge-protection mat designed for rapid deployment in technical rescue, rope access, tower, industrial, and work-at-height systems. Integrated magnets allow the mat to adhere directly to steel and other ferrous structures, helping maintain positioning without requiring conventional attachment hardware.

The Magna-Mat provides a 24-inch-long by 12-inch-wide abrasion-resistant surface for protecting ropes from contact with structural edges and other potentially damaging surfaces. The magnetic design is particularly useful on steel structures, towers, railings, industrial facilities, and similar environments where conventional edge protection may be difficult to secure.

Integrated MOLLE loops provide attachment and organization points for carabiners and other equipment, while reinforced corner points allow the mat to be tied down when additional security is required. The Magna-Mat may also be used as a stand-alone edge protector on non-magnetic surfaces.

The Magna-Mat is designed as part of STREP's modular Magna-System and can be paired with compatible Magna-Sleeves to create a larger rope-protection system.
