The shoulder straps are padded, with an adjustable sternum strap and emergency buckles for quick release. Two molded side handles and a back handle make it easy to grab and haul. Inside are two metal D-rings for securing rope, a mesh pocket, and a pocket with a plastic back reinforcement that doubles as an emergency splint for fractures. Reflective stripes and a reinforced bottom round it out.
