Rope Logic SafeBloc Tenex-Tec Sling – 3/4" x 16 ft.
The Rope Logic SafeBloc Tenex-Tec Sling combines a Notch SafeBloc with a professionally hand-spliced 3/4-inch Tenex-Tec dead-eye sling to create a friction-management system for professional arborist rigging.
The SafeBloc uses three rope passages to introduce friction at the upper rigging point, helping reduce forces transmitted to the anchor during lowering operations. The rigging line can be routed through one, two, or all three openings to establish the desired level of friction for the operation.
Unlike a conventional arborist block, the SafeBloc has no moving parts and uses a hard-coated construction for wear resistance. The assembly uses a 16-foot, 3/4-inch Tenex-Tec sling and has a published 3-sigma minimum breaking strength of 22,300 lb.
For small-to-medium loads, the SafeBloc can be used without a basal lowering device when appropriate for the rigging system. Larger loads require an additional friction brake.
