NRS Tactyl Vented Rescue Helmet

The NRS Tactyl Helmet is designed specifically for professional rescue personnel, combining multi-impact head protection with an adaptable platform for mounting mission-specific accessories. A front NVG/MPLS shroud and ARC-compatible side rails allow compatible lights and other SAR accessories to be added as operational requirements dictate. Accessories are sold separately.

The lightweight ABS shell provides front, side, and rear head coverage, while a multi-impact expanded polypropylene (EPP) foam liner helps dissipate impact energy without absorbing water. Soft EVA foam padding provides additional comfort and dries quickly after exposure to water.

Eleven ventilation openings, including two front, four top, and five rear vents, provide airflow and rapid drainage. A slight brim helps deflect water and sun, while reflective accents improve visibility in low-light and adverse-weather conditions.

NRS's DARC retention system uses a rear adjustment dial to fine-tune fit and help maintain helmet position under hydraulic forces. The adjustable Y-strap retention system incorporates a FidLock magnetic chin buckle for secure closure and convenient operation.

The Tactyl is certified to CE EN 1385 for whitewater use and is available in three sizes covering head circumferences from 51 to 61 cm.

Available Colors: Red, Orange, Safety Yellow, White, Black.
