FrenchCreek 1702 Sliding Beam Anchor
The FrenchCreek 1702 Sliding Beam Anchor provides a portable anchorage connection for workers operating on structural steel I-beams. Its adjustable design accommodates a range of beam flange widths and allows the anchor to be installed on either the top or bottom of the beam.
The 1702 adjusts to fit I-beam flanges from 3½ to 14 inches wide and up to 1¼ inches thick. Installation requires no tools, allowing the anchor to be positioned and adjusted efficiently as work requirements change.
A floating D-ring provides the connection point for compatible personal fall-arrest equipment while allowing the anchorage to travel along the beam as the worker moves. The assembly is constructed from high-strength aluminum and zinc-plated alloy steel for professional fall-protection applications.
