Conterra Clampbot Articulating Edge Roller

The Conterra Clampbot is an articulating rope edge roller designed to conform around pipes, railings, trees, structural members, and other irregular surfaces encountered during technical rescue and rope-access operations. Developed as the next evolution of Conterra’s Edgebot Terrain Roller, the Clampbot combines multiple rollers with an articulated frame to provide controlled rope movement across challenging edges and anchor environments.

The articulated design allows the Clampbot to wrap around the surface to which it is attached rather than relying on a flat mounting area. Twenty-eight mini crampon points increase grip on pipes, railings, trees, and similar surfaces, while the lowered center of gravity improves stability during operation.

Multiple integrated rollers provide a low-friction path for moving ropes, helping reduce abrasion and friction where loaded rope systems transition across an edge. Integrated attachment points allow the Clampbot to be secured in position as part of the rope system.

Designed for professional technical rescue, industrial rope access, tower, and work-at-height applications.
